How to spend an evening without breaking the bank in Casablanca? Very easy thanks to our friends in the French Institute. Inside the specials of SIEL Casablanca (the famous book exhibition) there are events almost everyday. This concert is one not to miss. Françoise Atlan et l’orchestre arabo-andalous de Fès will be most likely amazing, especially due to the reduced size of the theater we are sure it will make the whole auditorium vibrate. Françoise Atlan explores with her judeo-arabic music themes that unfortunately are not in fashion anymore: respect, tolerance, cohabitation of religion and credos. She has been in the famous Fez Festival of Sacred Music and other festivals like les Suds à Arles or the Festival d’art lyrique d’Aix-en-Provence, and she is also the artistic director of the Festival des Andalousies Atlantiques of Essaouira.
